Eric A. Walle, Ph.D. is a Professor of Psychology at the University of California, Merced. Dr. Walle's research centers generally on emotion and he has written extensively on the interpersonal functions of emotion. His empirical work examines socio-emotional development in infancy, particularly infant responding to others’ emotional communication.
